Grant Giving Guidelines

Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in southeast Michigan may apply for a grant from MIU - Run for the Ribbon. Southeast Michigan is defined as Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, St. Clair and Livingston county. Only proposals supporting prostate cancer awareness, treatment and research may be submitted.

MIU - Run for the Ribbon does not donate to the following causes, events or activities:

  • Individuals 
  • Capital Campaigns 
  • Political Organizations 
  • Religious Organizations for religious purposes 
  • Governmental Agencies
